We are seeking volunteers (families, adults & youth) to collect donations for the food drive that will take place on the weekend of November 14-15, 2026. All proceeds will be delivered to Our Lady of the Rosary (OLR) parish in Louisburg.
Location:
- Please report to the truck in the St Francis Church parking lot at least 5-10 minutes before your allotted time.
Responsibilities:
- Receive grocery bags/donated items from parishioners and place in bins inside the truck.
- Receive donations of cash and checks and immediately insert in the donation box located in the truck.
Special Notes:
- There are total of 5 volunteer slots per shift. The number showing on sign-up screen represents unfilled slots; when capacity is reached, no number appears.
- Volunteers should arrive for their shift at the designated time.
- This is a family friendly event. However, children (<18 years old) must be accompanied by a parent/adult.
- For groups/families: Please sign-up all individuals (one name per volunteer slot) who can independently perform required tasks; young children may participate along with a signed-up adult. Additional family members can participate if all 5 sign up slots are taken by members of one family or group.
- This is a rain or shine event; weather-appropriate clothing and shoes (closed toe) are recommended.
