We are seeking volunteers (families, adults & youth) to collect donations for the food drive that will take place on the weekend of April 25 and 26, 2026. All proceeds will be delivered to Our Lady of the Rosary (OLR) parish in Louisburg.
Location:
- Please report to the truck in the St Francis Church parking lot at least 5-10 minutes before your allotted time.
Responsibilities:
- Receive grocery bags/donated items from parishioners and place in bins located inside the truck.
- Receive donations of cash & checks and immediately insert in the donation box located in the truck.
Special Notes:
- There are total of 5 volunteer slots per shift. The number showing on sign-up screen represents unfilled slots; when capacity is reached, no number appears.
- Volunteers should arrive for their shift at the designated time.
- This is a family friendly event. However, children (<18 y.o.) must be accompanied by a parent/adult.
- For groups/families: Please sign-up all individuals (one name per volunteer slot) who can independently perform required tasks; young children may participate along with a signed-up adult. Additional family members can participate if all 5 sign up slots are taken by members of one family or group.
- This is a rain or shine event; weather appropriate clothing and shoes (closed toe) are recommended.
