The Helen Wright Center for Women, a program of Urban Ministries of Wake County, has been providing warm food, genuine care and safe shelter to women without children in their care, for years. Guests of the center are offered an opportunity to break the cycle of homelessness and achieve self-sufficiency through intensive case management services. St. Francis has been serving a warm meal to the women of this shelter for over 20 years.

Currently we are providing dinner for 70 women every 2nd Friday and 3rd Wednesday of each month. We need help through donations of food or assistance serving the meals. The women at the shelter are always so appreciative!
