Our ministry provides approximately 60 home-cooked meals for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Durham on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. We collect donations and then a few volunteers meet at RMH to prepare and serve the meal. Please join us in helping provide “a little piece of home” for these families who are going through a very difficult time in their lives.
Bulk item if possible:
Donate at least 8 Foil pans to bake chicken in. Approximate size of 11 3/4 x 9 3/8 x 5/16 inches. If you have access to BJs/Costco/Sams, We can take bulk items and we will store the rest for future meals.
Drop-off Location:
The Drop off Location is in Clare Hall and the Drop off Day/Time is the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 8am – 4pm.
Please label your donation "Ronald McDonald House."
Finding the Drop off Location:
When you come to St. Francis via the main drive off of Leesville Rd, after the 3rd speed bump, turn left into the half-circle portico (by the mailbox). Park there, turn your car off but keep your flashers on so everyone knows you are making a quick stop. After you enter Clare Hall via that nearest door, there will be a table straight in front of you, please drop off all of your supplies to this table in the large bin labeled for Ronald McDonald House
