We lightly clean, furnish, and set up apartments for refugee families arriving in our area several times annually over the course of 2-3 days in partnership with a refugee resettlement agency. We also provide crucial food, toiletries and cleaning supplies and prepare a culturally appropriate meal to welcome our newest neighbors. There is typically no direct interaction with the refugee family through this brief work but please also consider our companion Refugee Resettlement Support Circles that provide assistance to the families during their first 90 day transition period.
