Lenten Service Sunday: Solidarity with Sole Hope

Join us in partnering with SOLE HOPE, an organization that seeks to address the health and economic vulnerabilities of children and families in Uganda. Your simple act of service will change lives and spread hope in Africa. At this Lenten Service Sunday, we will work together to trace, cut, and organize denim shoe kits using patterns supplied through Sole Hope. Please bring a pair of used denim jeans, and we will help you turn these jeans into shoe parts to be shipped to Uganda. In Uganda, the shoe parts will be sewn and made into shoes that will be put on the feet of the children to protect them from harmful and painful parasites that infest their bare feet.
