2023 Annual CROP Hunger Walk!
On October 29th, 2023 we as a parish community will be participating in the annual Raleigh CROP Hunger Walk to raise awareness of issues of hunger and food insecurity in our local and international community. This is a great opportunity for the entire family to walk in solidarity and in advocacy for all people who face the difficulties of food insecurity.

Walk with us! Just register online and join us at the walk!

Walk and fundraise! When you register online, follow the instructions on how to invite others to donate to your campaign. (This is totally optional)

2023 CROP Hunger Walk - St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church
What to Expect at the Walk:
Sign-in is at 2pm, and step-off is at 3pm on October 29th! The full walk is about 3 miles, but there is a shorter 1 mile option available as well.
For this year’s Walk we return to downtown Raleigh. The Step off will be from First Baptist Church on Salisbury Street parking lot (GPS 176 Hillsborough Street). There is plenty of parking with an adjoining state parking lot (by Sanctuary on Hillsborough St, just past 99 N. Salisbury) and state parking deck 77 on West Edenton Street (turn left onto Edenton Street from N. Salisbury just before you reach the State Capitol). Both parking options are no charge.
There will be fun activities available at the location beginning at 2pm with the walk starting at 3pm. We will gather and walk as a community (Expect more details as the day draws nearer). We look forward to seeing you there!
