Feed the Need is a caring outreach ministry that provides home-cooked meals to individuals and families experiencing a time of transition or difficulty. Whether someone is recovering from surgery, grieving a loss, welcoming a new baby, or facing other challenges, our volunteers offer the comfort of a nourishing meal made just for them.
Rooted in compassion and Christian service, Feed the Need supports our community’s authentic living of the Gospel by responding to the practical needs of others with love and care.
How It Works:
Volunteers sign up to cook meals on a short-term basis. Meals are customized based on each family's size, preferences, and dietary needs. Opportunities are posted through St. Francis Serves and identified by family number. Select the opportunity on the calendar to view the family’s information. Detailed information, including drop-off date, number of people, allergies, and preferences, is included in each listing.
Delivery Volunteers Needed:
Some families are unable to pick up meals, so we also welcome volunteers to help deliver meals to their homes.
Meals are to be delivered to Clare Hall by noon on the scheduled date unless otherwise noted.
PLEASE IGNORE SHIFT TIMES- MEALS CAN BE DROPPED OFF BETWEEN 8-12.
