Oak City Cares (OCC) is a multi-services center serving individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness and/or those at-risk-of-becoming homeless with the goal of ending and preventing homelessness. OCC supports our neighbors experiencing homelessness through trusting relationships and connections to services that increases their ability to be safely and stably housed. With their many community partners, OCC provides coordinated care through on-site life-sustaining and life-rebuilding services without the barrier of transportation and resources. It also provides hospitality through weekend and holiday meals with community partners like St. Francis.
Would you like to help give our neighbors experiencing homelessness a recharge and help them have hope that they can have a home? We serve a breakfast meal to 200 people on the 2nd Saturday of every other month and the 4th Sunday of every month. You can help by donating food, serving a meal, and/or visiting with the guests. Your gifts of food and visits with the guests at OCC are key to making them feel welcomed and valued at OCC. Won’t you join us?
