Help the Curbside Care Ministry assemble care packages. We meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month to make care packages for our brothers and sisters in need whom we often meet while driving around the Triangle area. The Curbside Care Ministry is very Family Friendly!!

Location: Founders Room

Time: 7pm-8pm

Note: Children who are under the age of 12 do not need to sign up, BUT the adult who will volunteer with them, must sign up.

On Wednesday July 29th and  Sunday, August 2nd please join us in supporting the annual Back to School Supply Drive.  There are opportunities to help collect, transfer, sort and pack backpacks with supplies to be distributed to students through Our Lady of the Rosary, Passage Home, the Hispanic Family Center, and Inter-Faith Food Shuttle.

Families are welcome but please note: safe environment protocols require that youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

We are seeking volunteers (families, adults & youth) after each Mass on the weekend of November 7-8 to distribute grocery bags for the Our Lady of the Rosary (OLR) Food Drive.

Volunteers will report to the Stewardship Center at the designated time, pick up a stack of grocery bags and stand at one of two locations to distribute the collection bags. A list of requested items will be attached to each bag. Locations for distribution (2 volunteers at each location): (1) outside the Stewardship Center and (2) just inside the main church entrance to the breezeway. Volunteers should be at their assigned location prior to the end of Mass, preferably before communion ends, to distribute grocery bags to parishioners who leave Mass early.

Share your smile while you help prepare the plates, serve in the dinning room, get drink and food refills, etc. The Monthly Coordinator will be at the Center to guide and help you.

We serve a delicious home-cooked meatloaf, baked potatoes, green beans and dessert dinner meal every 3rd Wednesday of the month to about 40 women. We also eat and visit with guests of the Center who thoroughly enjoy and appreciate every smile and every bite. It's a wonderful experience and visiting with people who find themselves in harm’s way is a beautiful and meaningful way to live the Gospel!

We serve from 6:30-8:30pm.

Because we are not driving workers to mass this summer there will be some changes to this volunteer opportunity. Drivers will meet at St. Francis (TFS parking lot closest to Clare Hall) at 2 pm and follow a lead driver to Fiesta location.

Once at the fiesta site you will follow a lead driver to camps to provide workers transportation to the fiesta.  Afterwards you will follow a lead driver to return workers to their camp. 

Driver must have signed the waiver and show copy of driver license and car insurance.

Signup is only for the driver of the vehicle. You are welcome, and encouraged, to bring family as long as you have room in your vehicle for the workers.

When meeting at St Francis you may be asked to help other drivers transport food and drink to the fiesta.

Because we are not driving workers to mass this summer there will be some changes to this volunteer opportunity. Drivers will meet at St. Francis (TFS parking lot closest to Clare Hall) at 2 pm and follow a lead driver to Fiesta location.

Once at the fiesta site you will follow a lead driver to camps to provide workers transportation to the fiesta.  Afterwards you will follow a lead driver to return workers to their camp. 

Driver must have signed the waiver and show copy of driver license and car insurance.

Meeet at the TFS Parking lot area closest to Clare hall

Signup is only for the driver of the vehicle. You are welcome, and encouraged, to bring family as long as you have room in your vehicle for the workers.

When meeting at St Francis you may be asked to help other drivers transport food and drink to the fiesta.

While at the fiesta you are welcome to help set up and/ or serve if the need arises

Again this year we will hold Fiesta's on location at various migrant camps. We would like up to 3 volunteers to help transport food to the fiesta location, help set up, serve the meal and  clean up afterwards. 

Please meet Ministry leaders Carlos Panameno and/or Tom Carlson in the Founders room at St Francis at 2 pm the day of the fiesta. We will  load the food and drinks in our vehicles at St Francis and drive to the camp, where we will set up for the Fiesta 

Please park your vehicle in section of the TFS lot closest to Clare Hall. We will meet there at 2pm the day of the fiesta.  We will then  proceed to the founders room to get the food and load it.

Make an easy to reheat casserole (no meat) to feed about 10 people.
