On January 31st, St. Francis will be providing lunch for Corral Riding Academy.  Corral Riding Academy is a faith-motivated holistic program of equine assisted therapy and educational support for teenage girls in high-risk situations.  We expect to feed 25 people.

Volunteer: Brown Bag Ministry - JJ Henderson Apartments

Each volunteer slot commits to making 50 lunches for one of two apartment buildings for low-income senior citizens in Durham. The items you will be responsible for donating are: 50 sandwiches, 50 fruit cups, and 50 individually-wrapped desserts.

 
How the day looks: Saturday of:  Meet at 9am on SFA campus - Clare Hall Room 201.  Work with the BBM coordinator and your group to assemble brown bag lunches. Drive with your group to JJ Henderson Apartments to deliver the lunches to residents.  
Location: Initially meet at St. Francis Campus - Clare Hall Room 201 Then, drop off at JJ Henderson Apartments  
Special Notes: You must complete the driver certification form linked above if you will be driving people other than your family members.Details for items needed for purchase will be sent the Wednesday before your service date.
